Gdy wydawało się, że potrzebna będzie dogrywka, stało się coś, w co aż trudno uwierzyć. Dosłownie w ostatnich sekundach doliczonego czasu gry, bohaterem meczu i całej Kolumbii został Luis Diaz. Gracz zapewnił zwycięstwo swojej drużynie fenomenalnym golem zza pola karnego. Bramka stadiony świata i to dająca upragniony medal.
A już najbliższej nocy wielki finał Copa America 2021. W meczu nad meczami, w szlagierowym starciu, o tytuł Argentyna zagra z Brazylią. Początek meczu o godzinie 2 w nocy czasu polskiego.
